RIBA Walter Thomas BursaryThe RIBA Walter Thomas Bursary has been launched offering £10,000 to architecture studentsThe RIBA and Walter Thomas have joined together to award students who show the most promising design talent, but are in financial hardship. The £10,000 bursary is being funded by Walter Thomas for undergraduate students, enrolled in RIBA validated schools of architecture, with preference being given to Part II applicants.This year’s entries will be judged by a panel of 6 distinguished professionals including; Simon Pugh-Jones a Director of Barton Willmore, Keith Pavey Head of South West Architecture at BDP and Chris Howe a Director of Architecture at Atkins.The deadline for applications is Monday 5 January 2009.For more information, and to download an application form, visit http://www.architecture.com/EducationAndCareers/PrizesScholarshipsandBursaries/RIBAWalterThomasBursary.aspx.
